Christmas 2013

Today was a great Christmas Day!  Savannah woke up about 7:45 and came running in our bedroom to tell us that Santa had come.  She was very excited to wake up and find that Santa had left her an Ariel scooter, a red power wheels jeep, and a sit and spin.  CJ was pretty excited about his Mickey Mouse happy hauler and the jeep.  Savannah of course could not wait to open presents and CJ could have cared less about opening presents.  He just wanted to play with his new toys.  It was really sweet.  We went to Charlie's Dad's for breakfast and to open presents there.  The kids had a great time.  We went to my Me-Maws for lunch and to visit with my extended family.  It was great to see them and to hear about how their Christmas was.  We are going to do presents with my parents tomorrow.  Charlie and I enjoyed Christmas a lot this year because Savannah really understood what was going on and her excitement was just contagious!

Savannah's Christmas Program!

Today was Savannah's Christmas Program at preschool.  It was great!  Charlie and I have decided that this age is so fun to watch do anything.  They sang several songs for us and then went around and told what they wanted for Christmas.  The teachers did a great job teaching them their songs.  Savannah is still going around singing the songs she learned.

Savannah is Mary...

Today they asked Savannah to be Mary for the Christmas cantata at church.  She was so excited when we told her that she got to walk down the aisle and carry baby Jesus.  She was just suppose to walk down the aisle for one song and kneel at the front.  After that song was over then she would get up and leave.  She did so good.  The only thing that happened was that her arms got tired and she dropped baby Jesus close to the end of the song.  When she came back out I said "Savannah you dropped baby Jesus."  She followed up with "its ok Mom he didn't cry."  I just busted out laughing.  We love this little girl!

Savannah's First Dance Recital!

Today was Savannah's first dance recital.  It had to be the cutest thing that Charlie and I had ever seen.  Savannah started dance back in September and she would go on Monday nights.  They would do ballet and tap.  One of Savannah's most favorite thing was dressing up in her leotard and tutu.  Here are some pictures of her dancing.

CJ's First Haircut!

CJ got his first haircut today.  It made me a little sad to take him because that just means he is growing up.  He did pretty well.  CJ did not want to sit still.  I had to hold him on my lap and let him watch Mickey Mouse on my phone for Robin to be able to cut his hair.  Here are a few pictures.  They are not great because he kept wanting to climb out of the seat.
