We were able to work the pumpkin patch at our church again this year. It was a lot of fun. This year Allie got her picture taken with the kids. Here are some of our pictures.
Today we celebrated Savannah's 7th Birthday with a bowling party. Savannah had a blast. She had an Elena cake thanks to her Pa-Paw. All of her friends were able to celebrate with her.
CJ played flag football for the first time this year. He had a great time. Charlie was his coach and he liked that. Savannah would tell Charlie that she was his assistant coach but only liked to help him when it worked for her. It was fun watching the 4, 5, and 6 year olds play. CJ's job was to hike the ball most of the time. He would sometimes just lay his head on the ball. Here are some pictures.
We were blessed enough to be able to go camping at Grayson Highlands State Park again this year, We went with the Richardsons, Spechts and My Kelsey. My parents and Larry and Renee joined us this year. Unfortunately the weather was not the greatest this year. We had a lot of rain due to a hurricane. That however did not stop the kids from playing in the rain or riding their bikes in the rain. I am pretty sure I had to change CJ's clothes at least once if not twice a day. We did not get to do the Virginia Creeper Trail this year due to the rain. We did however take our bikes to Damascus to ride there and have a picnic at the park. We got to carve our pumpkins again and the kids loved that. It was great having the camper there so we did not get cold this year. Overall it was a good trip and can't wait until we go back next year.
I am a twenty something mother and wife loving every minute of it! This was created to help keep my sister and her family updated while they are overseas. Feel free to keep up with us too!
