Pumpkin Patch!

Today we took the kids to the pumpkin patch to try to get some pictures.  We are so lucky to have a pumpkin patch at our church.  We have been blessed to be able to work at the pumpkin patch several times this October.  Savannah loved to hand out stickers and to paint and decorate her pumpkins.  I think that we have 5 little pumpkins that she has decorated over the course of October.  As you can see below it took us quite a few tries to be able to get a good picture of both of them at the pumpkin patch.

CJ is 3 month's Old!

Today our little boy is 3 months old.  He is such a joy to be around.  We can't believe that he is already 3 months old.  It just seems like the time has gone by so fast.  He sometimes sleeps through the night and at other times he wakes up one time to eat.  CJ loves to watch his sister Savannah.  He thinks she is so funny and loves to watch her dance around.  CJ will smile at you when you talk to him and try to talk back.  One of his other favorite things to do is to look at his mobile on his crib.

The Fair!

We were able to go to the Cleveland County Fair tonight.  It was wonderful.  Charlie and I both remember going to the fair as a child and have very fond memories.  This of course was CJ's first trip to the fair but Savannah had went to the fair last year.  I think that she really enjoyed it this year because she was much more into the rides.  I think that she would have kept on riding the rides as long as Charlie and I would have given her tickets.  She was sad when we told her we were out of tickets.  The cars were by far her favorite thing to ride.  She would just laugh when she was on there.  CJ slept most of the time at the fair but when he was awake he really enjoyed all the lights and different colors.  Savannah keeps asking us when she can go back to the fair.

The Zoo!

Today we were able to go the zoo with my Aunt Barbara and cousin Blake.  It was wonderful.  Mom, Savannah, CJ and I were able to go and visit with Barbara and Rus in South Carolina.  They live about 30 minutes away from the Columbia Zoo.  Savannah had remembered going to the zoo last year with Blake and asked if she could go again this year.  Of course my Aunt Barbara said yes.  It is so fun to watch the kids excitement with the animals.  It was like they were seeing each animal for the first time.  Blake and Savannah were even able to feed the giraffes.  Here are some pictures from our trip.

Savannah's 3rd Birthday Party!

Today we got to celebrate Savannah's birthday at the Splash Pad at the YMCA.  Savannah decided she wanted to have her Birthday party here again because she had so much fun last year. It did start raining on us so we had to move the party inside to the pool.  It did not bother the kids at all.  I think as long as they were playing in water they were happy.  Savannah had a great time and enjoyed all of her family and friends being here.  Here are a few pictures from her party.

Savannah is 3 years old!

Today Savannah turned 3 years old!  We don't know where the time has gone.  She is so funny.  We never know what new thing she is going to tell us.  She loves mickey mouse, loves to sing, likes to read books, loves to have nursery rhymes read to her, likes to play with baby dolls, and loves to play anything outside.  Savannah has a great imagination.  We are so happy that the Lord has blessed us with such a wonderful little girl!

CJ is 2 months old!

Today CJ is 2 months old.  We cannot believe where the time has gone.  He is such a joy!  Some of his favorite things to do is to sit in his bouncy seat, watch the fan, have his big sister Savannah talk to him, and he just loves to be talked to.  He has also rolled over from his belly to his back.  He is 14lbs and 24.5 inches long.  We are loving watching him grow and learn.

Beach Trip 2012!

September 15-22, 2012
We were fortunate enough to be able to go to the beach for a week this year.  It was wonderful family time for all of us.  It was CJ's first trip to the beach.  I think he liked most of his trip.  He would probably be a little more excited next year.  Savannah of course loved every minute of the beach.  We were able to go to Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, play putt putt and of course eat at all of our favorite restaurants and eat ice cream.  It was a wonderful relaxing time.  Here are some pictures from our trip.
