July 4th Weekend at the Lake

We had lots of fun this weekend at the lake. It was Savannah's 1st July the 4th. I really think she enjoyed it. She got to try watermelon for the first time and loved it. When she would get a piece in her mouth she was not quite sure what to do with it. We went to the fireworks at Queens Landing and Savannah just watched the different colors. I think she enjoyed them. It was kind of cool that night so we had her in long sleeves which is unusual in July. All in all it was a great 4th of July!

9 Month's Old!

Savannah is 9 month's old today. We cannot believe it. She is getting so big. I always try to take her picture when she turns a month older. So, these are her 9 month pictures. Our baby is growing up so fast!

Alot of times when I go and get Savannah in the morning this is how I find her. It kind of looks like she is trying to figure out how to get out of her crib. She always just gives me a great big grin when I open the door. She is usually in the best of moods when she wakes up.

This is our new boat. We love it. Savannah loves riding in the boat. Alot of times she will just fall asleep in the boat. Charlie and I decided to get a boat after the one my parents had went down an embankment and crashed. The whole family is enjoying it. It is Charlie's baby. All he wants to do is go and play on the boat.

Larry and Renee brought this swing down to the lake last weekend for Bryleigh. Well before Bryleigh got down there Savannah thought she would try it out. Savannah loved it! She would just laugh and giggle. It was to cute. Charlie and I think we need to get her a swing but we are not sure where we would put it because we have no trees in our yard.

One of Savannah's favorite things to do is to sit the the floor in her room and play. We put a basket of toys beside her and she will take one out and play with it for awhile. Once she is done with it she just tosses it over her head. I usually don't hear anything from her until all the toys are gone from her basket. She has got an arm on her. We think she might be a softball player.

Monday May 31, 2010. Savannah's first Memorial Day was pretty uneventful. We just hung out with our friend Emmaire this morning before she had to go back to Houston. Then Savannah, Charlie, and I went to dinner at Chili's. It was a great relaxing day!
