Today is Savannah's 1st Birthday. We cannot believe that she is 1 year old today. We thank God everyday for him bringing her into our lives. She had a great day playing and people calling to sing Happy Birthday to her. Tonight for supper she got to have pizza and cake. That was a really special treat for her. Over all she had a great 1st Birthday!

We had Savannah's 1st Birthday party at the lake today. It was wonderful. Savannah had a great time opening her gifts and eating cake. Paw-Paw made both of her cakes and they were wonderful. Savannah loved seeing everyone and all of the attention.

Savannah loves playing in the fridge. All I have to do is open the door and she is crawling as fast as she can to get into the fridge. This time she decided she would stand up in the fridge to see what she could play with.

September 18-21, 2010

We went to the beach with Paw-Paw and had a great time. Savannah loved having her Paw-Paw to play with and all the attention he gave her. All she would have to do is reach for something she wanted and he was buying it for her. We had fun playing in the water and in the sand. Savannah loved going to Johnny Rockets to eat supper. She loved the people dancing and singing.

Savannah has started being really interested in her books. She got quiet the other night and this is where I found her. She was sitting with all of the books. I just watched her for a minute to see what she would do. She would pick up a book open it up and look at it for a minute and then throw it behind her. It is Savannah's version of reading.

Charlie is determined to make Savannah an Appalachian fan. When he got home from work the other day this is what he had for her. I think the only clothes he has ever bought her were Appalachian clothes.
