Recliners!

Savannah has a new thing for recliners. Her Pa-Paw has gotten her spoiled by letting her sit in his recliner when she is at his house. Now she thinks that anywhere there is a recliner she should be sitting in it. The cutest thing about it is that she wants the foot up. She can never reach the foot but it must be up if she is sitting in the recliner. She even tells her Pa-Paw to "out" meaning she wants him to get out of the recliner so she can sit in it. So, here is a picture of Savannah on the morning of July 4th sitting in the recliner while we made breakfast at the Lake.

21 Months Old!

Savannah turned 21 months old today. I still can't believe how fast she is growing. Charlie and I just love her so much and never know what new stuff she is going to do for the day. One thing she really loves right now is her cousin Kayleigh. The only bad part is they are not here but in China. Savannah's new favorite thing to do is to watch a video of Kayleigh over and over again. I have asked Alisa to please post a new video for my sake! Here are a few pictures of her.

Shopping Cart!

Emma and Sarah so kindly gave Savannah their old shopping cart. Savannah has loved playing with it. She will put her baby dolls in it and books and push them around the house. She thinks it is wonderful. Because Savannah has gone to the grocery store a hundred times with her Mama and Nanna she knows where she is suppose to sit in the shopping cart. The other night Charlie and I were in the kitchen talking when we heard Savannah saying "stuck stuck" from the bathroom. We were worried that she had fallen in the toilet. Much to our surprise this is where we found her. The child never ceases to amaze me. Charlie and I just laughed which made her think she had done something really good. As you can see she is all smiles!

Tonight we took Charlie's Dad out to dinner for Fathers day. When we got back Savannah wanted to play in Pa-Paw's back yard. She had taken her shoes off because she doesn't like to have them on. Well being a little Princess she would not walk in the grass without her shoes on. So, Pa-Paw took his shoes off in the efforts to try to get her to walk in the grass without shoes and she decided that she would put on his shoes to walk in the grass. The funny thing is that Charlie says he doesn't remember his Father ever walking around barefoot for him. It is amazing what a grandchild will make you do!

Today we celebrated Father's Day and birthdays at Me-Maws and Pa-Paw's house. We had a blast. We got a call this morning to be sure to bring Savannah's bathing suit because Me-Maw was going to have a swimming pool for the kids to play in. Savannah was so excited. After eating lunch we went swimming. Savannah had a great time drinking the pool water, trying to dump water on Makynli, and sitting in the foot tub. After swimming Aunt Holly took her on the 4-wheeler to see everyone that was working at the farm. She had a blast with Holly and came back smiling all the way. We had a wonderful time celebrating.

Savannah found these princess shoes that Kayleigh gave her that she could not wear. She decided that she wanted to put them on but it was a little difficult because Savannah has a really wide foot. Once I actually got them on her she pranced around the living room like she was hot stuff! Her Daddy would be proud of her wearing her princess shoes with her Appalachian dress. All I could hear was clonk clonk around the house.

20 Months Old!

Savannah is 20 months old today. We can't believe how fast she is growing. She is really starting to talk a lot more and has started copying what we do. She is wonderful!
