Savannah wanting to go Swimming!

Here is a picture of Savannah trying to put her swimming diaper on, her bathing suit on, and then her cover up. She came running to me while I was dusting saying "swim momma swim." I told her we could not go swimming today but we would go swimming on Friday. She didn't really think that was a good idea. That's when I found her trying to put everything on. She is a mess!

Today Charlie decided to wash the truck after dinner. He took Savannah outside to play while he washed the truck. Instead she decided she would help him. I think she really liked playing in the bubbles. Here are some pictures of her washing the truck!

Savannah got her first haircut today. She did awesome! She sat still on my lap did not fight with Robin for putting the cape on her and didn't even get upset once. It was great! It made me realize how fast she is growing up! Savannah thought she was hot stuff sitting there getting her hair fixed. Robin was really surprised that she did so well. After Savannah got done she decided to wear her cape around the building and visit other people getting their hair done. I think she might be a little diva! Thanks to Aunt Holly for taking pictures!

July 27-31st

We were able to go to the beach with Michael, Amber, Bryleigh, and Makynli for a mini vacation. It was wonderful. We had the best time. We did lots of playing on the beach, playing in the ocean, and also playing in the pool. We were able to enjoy a Pelican's Baseball game while we were there and then see fireworks after it was over. Bryleigh and Savannah got to experience their first round of putt putt and of course we got to get ice cream from Painters! Bryleigh and Savannah had moments where they loved each other and then would not like each other so much. Savannah called the ocean "the pool" even though we told her several times it was the ocean. Bryleigh and Savannah loved playing in the sand and finding sea shells. One of Savannah's favorite things to do was to play in the sand and then run to the ocean and wash her hands off. Then she would run back and do it all over again. It was really sweet. The putt putt game was quite an experience. Savannah was more interested in where the balls were going and wanting to play in the water than trying to hit the ball in the hole. Bryleigh was much better at trying to hit the ball. Overall it was a good experience. At the end of our putt putt game it was so cute because Savannah was trying to see where her ball went and laid down on the green and looked in the hole to see if she could reach it. Every morning when Savannah woke up she would ask for "Bry Bry". It was really cute. Makynli was an angel and let Savannah and Bryleigh pull her around about million times a day. We had a awesome time and can't wait to do it again soon! Here are some pictures we thought you might enjoy from the beach!

Today we got to go to South Carolina to celebrate Will's Baptism with Meredith and Craig and their whole family. It was great to see everyone and to meet Will for the first time. He is the cutest thing. We got to all have lunch together after the baptism and then head to Lake Murray for a boat ride. It was wonderful! Hopefully we will get to see them again soon.

Baby Float!

Savannah cracked me up today when she came walking down the hall at the lake with her old baby float. She thought she might want to wear it around the house. I guess she was ready to go swimming whenever we said lets go! Its hard to believe that she was little enough to actually use that float all the time last year!

Recliners!

Savannah has a new thing for recliners. Her Pa-Paw has gotten her spoiled by letting her sit in his recliner when she is at his house. Now she thinks that anywhere there is a recliner she should be sitting in it. The cutest thing about it is that she wants the foot up. She can never reach the foot but it must be up if she is sitting in the recliner. She even tells her Pa-Paw to "out" meaning she wants him to get out of the recliner so she can sit in it. So, here is a picture of Savannah on the morning of July 4th sitting in the recliner while we made breakfast at the Lake.
