April 24, 2011

We got to celebrate Easter with our families today. Above are some pictures throughout the day that I thought you might enjoy looking at. It was a great Easter for all of us and we were so excited to spend Easter with Alisa, John, and the kids. We had an egg hunt at Me-Maw's and it was so much fun that we decided we would have to definitely do it again next year. We hope all of you had a great Easter too!

Zoo!

April 17, 2011

We went to the zoo today with Alisa, John, Kayleigh, Zeb, and Layla. We had a blast. Savannah loved seeing her cousins and playing with them. In the picture above Savannah was standing in front of the monkeys. She kept trying to climb the glass to get to them. It was to sweet. I think the comment of the day came from Kayleigh when she said to us as we were walking under a bridge "Welcome to South America." We had just entered the North America part of the Zoo. It was so funny.

Mowing Grass!

Not sure about the face she is making. April 11, 2011 Savannah decided she wanted to help her Daddy mow grass today. We did not know how she was going to take it but she loved it. She stayed on the mower with Charlie the whole time and never fussed. She eventually fell asleep at the end. It was too cute! Charlie has decided she is going to help him every time.

No Clothes!

April 7, 2011

When I went to get Savannah out of the crib this morning this is how I found her. She had managed to take off her pajamas and wrap herself up in her "covs" as she calls them. She thought it was the best thing. She was just laughing when I went to get her. I just hope she doesn't figure out how to take her diaper off.

18 Months Old!

March 28, 2011

Savannah is 18 months old today. She is such a joy for Charlie and I. The pictures above are her before we go to swimming lessons at the Y. She loves to swim. If it was up to her we would play in the water all day. Hope this makes her ready for the lake this summer!

March 7, 2011
Our whole family went to the Great Wolf Lodge to stay on Sunday night. My parents decided they wanted to take all the kids to play on the water slides and in the pools. We had a great time. Jody, Ann, Hundley, Ashlyn, and Joe all got to join us for the fun. When we got down there on Sunday afternoon we hit the water immediately. The kids (big and small) were amazed at all we could do. The little ones loved playing in the kiddie pool and with all of the toys. The big kids loved the water slides. There was one slide that was called the Howling tornado and it stayed true to its name. It would make you howl every time you went down it. We enjoyed taking turns riding with different people to see how fast you could get and how high you would go. The lifeguards working the slides would just laugh at us. We even got Nanna to go down a water slide which Poppa got on video. It was not the big one because she said she would never speak to us again if we took her on that but it was the next biggest one and she loved it. Hundley and Ashlyn thought it was great to see their great aunt Frankie on a water slide. We had a great time and the kids did not want to leave. They just could not understand why we could not stay another night. It was wonderful and we hope to do it again soon.
