Today we got to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. We got to have lunch with Charlie's side of the family and then dinner with my side of the family. It was great to spend time with family and catch up with everyone. As you can see we had a hard time trying to get all three girls to look at the camera for a picture. All they wanted to do was play. Also a special thank you to Renee for making the cute Thanksgiving shirts Bryleigh and Savannah have on.

Today we got to go and get our Christmas tree in the mountains. We had a great time. We ran into Michael, Amber, Bryleigh and Makynli while we were there. The girls loved playing together. It was great because we got to do a hayride, roast marshmallows, drink hot chocolate, pet the ducks and just hang out. Savannah really enjoyed it this year!

Kid's say the funniest things!

November 21, 2011
Savannah is all the time making Charlie and I laugh with things she will do or say. This is one of the funniest things she has done lately and I thought I would share it with you. After dinner I was cleaning up her high chair when she came up behind me and pulled the back of my pants open and said "Mommy all clean." Charlie and I just busted out laughing. I know she did that because we do that to her all the time. You never realize how much they are paying attention to the things you do.

Mom and I were lucky to be able to go and visit with my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Rus in South Carolina. We had a great time. Savannah loved playing with Blake, Shelby, and Will. She really likes having other kids around. One thing that made us laugh was that she kept calling Blake "Jake". We are not sure where she got that from. When we woke up on Wednesday morning Barbara and Rus suggested we go to the Columbia Zoo. So, we did and Savannah had a great time. Here are some pictures from the zoo that I thought you might enjoy.

Halloween 2011!

October 31, 2011
Here is a couple of pictures of Savannah in her Halloween costume. She was a tiger and if you would ask her what a tiger said she would growl. Charlie and I loved it. Savannah had a great time trick or treating. She loved visiting with people the most.

Today we got to go to the Carolina verses Wake Forrest football game. We had a blast. Carolina won 49 to 24 so that was awesome. One of the best things about the weekend was getting to see our dear friend Emmarie. We love her so much and don't get to see her very much since she lives in Texas. She came home for a visit and was so kind to include a little time for her friends from Lincolnton. We started the day off with eating at Sutton's one of Holly and my favorite places to eat in Chapel Hill. Then did some shopping on Franklin street. After that we went walking on campus and then to the game. After the game we stopped by the Old Well for a couple of pictures and then to eat supper at The Loop! It was a wonderful weekend and we had so much fun hanging out with Emmarie. Here are a few pictures from the weekend I thought you might enjoy.

The Pumpkin Patch!

Savannah loves the attention she gets from these girls at church!

October 23, 2011
We are privileged to have a pumpkin patch at our church. The money we raise from the pumpkin patch goes to different mission projects for the church. Charlie and I always try to work the pumpkin patch when we can to help out. Well on Sunday we were there from 3 until 9 because the youth helped work the pumpkin patch from 6-9. It was wonderful. While we were there we thought we should get some pictures of Savannah. So, here they are. I hope you enjoy all of them. Charlie and I were talking that day saying we could not believe how fast she has grown up. We remember taking her picture there when she was a month old. We had to prop her up on pumpkins to be able to take her pictures. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl!
