Christmas Day 2011!

December 25, 2011
We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Santa did come and visit Savannah bringing her a cupcake which she had requested and a swing set. It was wonderful. Then we went to church and celebrated the birth of our Savior. After church we went to lunch at Me-Maws and then to Poppa and Nana's to open presents. It was a great day! Savannah did think she was at a birthday party with all the presents. We told her that it was Jesus's birthday. She never ceases to make us laugh!

December 24, 2011
Today we got to celebrate Christmas Eve with Charlie's side of the family. It was wonderful. We started off with breakfast at Granny's and then opening presents. Then we went to Pa-Paw's house for dinner. It was a great day with our family. Savannah loved all of the attention she got. Here are a few pictures from our day. I hope you enjoy!

Dinner with Santa!

December 18, 2011
Today we had dinner with Santa at church. This would be the first time Savannah has been able to participate in this. We did not think that she would have anything to do with Santa because Charlie and I took her to see Santa Claus on Wednesday night and she cried and screamed "no see Santa, no see Santa". Well she was so tired from the weekend that she fell asleep on Charlie at the dinner. Charlie decided to try to get her picture with Santa since she was asleep. So, here are some pictures of her with Santa Claus.

Conversation with Savannah!

December 1, 2011
Today I had an interesting conversation with Savannah. I had just picked her up from her Pa-Paw's house and we were on the way home. She must have asked me a million things on the way home but this was one of the funniest things she said.

Savannah: I want to go to Nana's house.
Me: You can't go to Nana's house she is not home.
Savannah: Nana go shopping?
Me: No, Nana is at the beach.
Savannah: Poppa go with Nana to the beach?
Me: Yes, Poppa went with Nana to the beach.
Savannah: Pannah go to the beach.
Me: You can't go to the beach it is to cold.
Savannah: Mommy and Pannah might blow away.

I just busted out laughing. I said yes we might blow away. I guess she remembers the beach being windy when we were there last. It is just so funny how her little mind works!

Today we got to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. We got to have lunch with Charlie's side of the family and then dinner with my side of the family. It was great to spend time with family and catch up with everyone. As you can see we had a hard time trying to get all three girls to look at the camera for a picture. All they wanted to do was play. Also a special thank you to Renee for making the cute Thanksgiving shirts Bryleigh and Savannah have on.

Today we got to go and get our Christmas tree in the mountains. We had a great time. We ran into Michael, Amber, Bryleigh and Makynli while we were there. The girls loved playing together. It was great because we got to do a hayride, roast marshmallows, drink hot chocolate, pet the ducks and just hang out. Savannah really enjoyed it this year!

Kid's say the funniest things!

November 21, 2011
Savannah is all the time making Charlie and I laugh with things she will do or say. This is one of the funniest things she has done lately and I thought I would share it with you. After dinner I was cleaning up her high chair when she came up behind me and pulled the back of my pants open and said "Mommy all clean." Charlie and I just busted out laughing. I know she did that because we do that to her all the time. You never realize how much they are paying attention to the things you do.
