Savannah's First Day at Preschool!

August 30, 2012
Today was Savannah's first day at preschool.  I can't believe that she is old enough to start preschool.  I don't know where the time has gone.  Savannah was so excited about school today that she got up at 6:30.  She told me that she was ready to go to school.  Savannah even let me fix her hair for preschool.  This is a big deal most days.  When we got there she just got out of the car and said hello to her teacher and walked right inside.  She was not a bit sad to leave her Mommy.  When I picked her up she told me that she really liked school and wanted to go back tomorrow.  We were so excited that she liked it.  Here are some pictures of her ready for school this morning.

CJ is 1 month Old!

Today CJ is one month old.  I can't believe where the time has gone.  I just seems like yesterday he was born.  He has changed so much in one month.  He is smiling at us now some when we talk to him.  CJ will turn his head from side to side without any problem and push up with his arms some.  He likes to be held and cuddled. He is growing and changing each and every day.  Here are some pictures of him from today.

Savannah never ceases to amaze me with the things she says.  Here is how our conversation went last night.
Savannah: Mommy I don't feel so good.
Me: What is hurting you?
Savannah: I have been changing to many diapers.
Me:  Its hard working being a Mommy.
Savannah:  I am so tired.
Charlie and I busted out laughing after she told us this.  The girl is always coming up with something funny to say.

A Day at the Park!

Today we went to Shelby City Park with Amber, Bryleigh, and Makynli.  We had a blast.  My parents had taken Savannah one other time and she loved it.  What makes this park so special is the fact that they have a train and a carousel.  The girls loved riding the train and loved picking out their special horse to ride.  They also have a great playground area.  Here are some pictures of us on the train.

CJ's first tub bath!

Tonight we gave CJ his first tub bath.  We think he liked it better than he liked his sponge baths.  Savannah was so excited about him getting to take his bath.  She kept wanting to get in the tub with him.  She also could not figure out why he did not want to play with her toys in the bath tub.

 As you can see Savannah was even naked because she wanted to get into the tub. 

CJ's first boat ride!

Today CJ went for his first boat ride.  He liked riding on the boat but did not like the life jacket.  We did have to put him in a pink life jacket because all of the other life jackets were too big.  We hope one day he will forgive us for this.  CJ slept pretty much the whole time we were on the boat.

 As you can see he was not happy to be in a life jacket. 

CJ is 3 weeks old!

Today CJ is 3 weeks old.  He is growing and changing everyday.  CJ has started to smile at us every once in a while.  We think that is pretty cool!  Savannah is still loving on him every chance she gets.  Here are a few pictures of him today.
