Camping

We were able to go camping again this year at Grayson Highlands State Park.  It was so much fun.  We had a blast and so did the kids.  The weather was cooler this year but it did not snow like it did the first year we went, which was a blessing.  We did the Virginia Creeper Trail again this year and it was awesome!  We were so glad to have Kelsey come and join us again this year.  She got to experience tent camping with us.  The Wyant's were able to come for the first time and of course the Richardson's and Specht's.  Here are some pictures from our trip.

Savannah's 6th Birthday Party

Today we got to celebrate Savannah's Birthday with her friends.  She had a dance, cheer, and tumble party at the YMCA.  They had a great time.  Her dance teacher even came and taught them a dance.  They played musical chairs, freeze dance, and Barbie charades.  The girls loved it.  Thanks to all who came out to celebrate with Savannah.  

Savannah is 6 years old!

Savannah turned 6 years old today.  I can't believe how grown up she is getting.  She is such a joy to be around.  Savannah has the most loving, caring spirit.  Charlie cooked her breakfast this morning for her Birthday.  We sang Happy Birthday to her with a candle in her toast.  She then wanted to eat Mexican for supper because she loves some cheese dip.  We told her the story about the day she was born and she loved it.  It made Charlie and I a little sad telling her because of how big she is getting.  We love you Savannah!  Thanks to Pa-Paw for the beautiful Barbie doll cake.  

Beach Time

We got to go to the beach with Charlie's Dad this year.  We had a great time.  The kids loved having Pa-Paw to play with in the ocean and in the sand.  We even got to go play putt-putt one night.  That was quite an adventure with Savannah and CJ.  CJ kept calling it "pup pup boogie" from Paw Patrol.  He kept telling us he wanted to play more "pup pup boogie."  It was funny to watch his expression when on the 18th hole he could not get his ball back.  He kept looking in the hole to try to find it.  Overall we had great weather and could not have asked for a better time.

Savannah's First Day of Kindergarten!

Today was Savannah's first day of Kindergarten.  She was so excited.  Charlie and I can't believe that she is starting Kindergarten.  We don't know where the time has gone.  She was not scared one bit.  She just walked right to her classroom and put her book bag up and started doing work.  We are so glad she likes it.  They made cute little signs saying "Welcome to the Pride" and put it in all of the kindergartner's yards.  She was really excited to see that.

CJ's First Day of 3 year old Preschool

Today was CJ's first day of 3 year old preschool.  He was so excited about going to school!

CJ is 3!!!

Our little boy turned 3 today.  We can't believe where the time has gone.  It just seems like yesterday that I was holding him for the first time.  He is such a joy to be around.  He makes us laugh all the time.  CJ definitely has a no fear attitude and will try anything.  He loves his sister.  We thank God for trusting us to be his parents.
