Pumpkin Patch 2014

We were able to go to the pumpkin patch again this year.  The kids love it.  We are blessed enough to be able to work at the pumpkin patch as well.  Savannah loves to give the kids that visit stickers.  Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch.  As you can see I had a hard time trying to get them both to smile and look at the same time.

Camping Fun!

We were lucky enough to be able to go camping again this year.  We went with Matt, Holly, Bonnie, Wil, Kali, Liam, and Kelsey was able to come with us this year.  It was wonderful!  We could not have asked for better weather.  No snow this year!  Yay!  We got there on Friday and stayed until Sunday.  We did the Virginia Creeper Trail again this year.  It was so much fun and the kids loved it.  Savannah also loved that she was able to roast marshmallows and eat s'mores.  CJ loved being outside and just running around pushing either his truck or Liam's bike.  Another fun thing for the adults was playing Catch Phrase by the fire thanks to Kelsey!

Savannah is 5 Years Old!!!

We cannot believe that our sweet Savannah turned 5 years old today.  The time has just flown by.  It seems like just yesterday they were putting her in my arms for the first time.  Savannah is the most loving, sweet, social little girl I know.  She loves to dance, sing, tell stories, place dress up, take care of baby dolls, and make up stories. We never know what new thing she might tell us for the day.   Savannah loves to go to the fair.  So, for her Birthday we went to the fair.  We all had a blast celebrating her Birthday!   Charlie and I are excited to see what the next year holds for our sweet girl.

Savannah's 5th Birthday Tea Party!

Today we celebrated Savannah's 5th Birthday.  It was great!  We had a princess tea party.  All of Savannah's friends dressed up as their favorite princess.  They decorated their own crowns, had a tea party with cake and ice cream and then just played.  Savannah had a blast and was so very excited to have all of her friends over to her house.  Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with her.  Here are some pictures from the tea party.

Terrific Kid!

Today Savannah was chosen as the Terrific Kid of the Month from her class.  She was so excited and so were we.  She got to go to an assembly today and be presented her award and then have her picture taken to be put up in school.  Here is our Terrific Kid!

CJ's First Time Going Potty!

Tonight before bath we had CJ sit on the potty to see if he would go.  Well he did!!! When he went pee pee for the first time I think it shocked him.  It was really cute!  We all danced and sang the pee pee in the potty song for him.

Savannah's First Day of Pre-K!

Today was Savannah's first day of Pre-K at S. Ray Lowder.  This is where she will be attending elementary school.  She goes from 8:00-2:30 everyday.  She eats lunch at school and gets to take a nap at school.  Savannah was really excited this morning to go to school and was excited about eating lunch at school.  She got her a new princess book bag for school.  Charlie and I were able to walk her in today.  She put her stuff in her cubbie and then gave us a hug and told us goodbye.  Savannah was not scarred at all.  I teared up a bit after I dropped her off.  I just can't believe that she is old enough to go to pre-k all day!  We hope that she has a great year!  When I picked her up from school today she was so excited.  She said she had a great day. Savannah said that she took her nap in the housekeeping area and that they did not let her take her shoes off for nap.  She also told me that the teacher would not let her drink chocolate milk with her lunch and they only gave her a few cheerios for snack and that she was still very hungry.  Savannah said that her favorite thing about today was the "Housekeeping area."  Here is a picture of our little princess on her first day!
